A Mexican-based property rental business that owns and manages several apartments in Mexico City and a few hotels.
REQUEST BACKGROUND
The client in the hospitality industry recognized the limitations of their older customer relationship management (CRM) and booking systems, which hindered their operational efficiency and scalability capabilities. They required a specialized property management system tailored specifically to the unique needs of the industry.
A business operating in the hotel industry relied on Pipedrive and Airbnb to manage their apartments. As they expanded their portfolio to include hotels, operational tasks consumed a significant amount of time, leaving limited resources for further growth. Off-the-shelf hotel property management systems were no longer adequate for their evolving needs.
The company approached us seeking a custom property management system (PMS) software that would comprehensively manage all aspects of their properties, including maintenance, pricing, reservations, payment collection, and reporting. The PMS needed to seamlessly integrate with booking channels like Airbnb and Booking.com, while also maintaining compatibility with Pipedrive for handling the sales pipeline and financial reporting.

CHALLENGE
Our primary challenge revolved around establishing seamless integration between the hospitality PMS and Pipedrive. Gaining clarity on the desired interaction between these two systems was crucial.
Although our experience with Pipedrive was limited, we possessed extensive expertise in consulting with clients to elicit precise expectations for new solutions. Through a series of meetings, we successfully clarified the project requirements and were equipped to translate them into technical realities.
